Also, You might not be able to tell in my voice but I was extremely Excited, Happy, and a little nervous to finally have one of my own because I have been following Alienware before dell even brought the company. I really did buy this as one of many other Christmas gifts for myself but I just could NOT wait to open *this* so I posted it on Christmas Day instead, Thank you for watching, hate comments are not welcome, but it's still a free country lol. Connect Electric Guitar or Acoustic Guitar (with audio output) to your Mac and rock your heart out with Garageband Application. The easiest yet cheapest solution is to use an adapter. You need 1/4" inch to 1/8" audio adapter. It needed to be under 2Kg about 4.4lb including the AC adapter cables and shipping box so that the shipping will not be more expensive than the computer :) Specs are AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58 1.9GHz (65nm) 2GB RAM ATI Radeon Xpress X1270 with VGA and HDMI Chipset RS690T. I installed a custom live Linux OS based on 64bit Ubuntu 10.10 using remastersys. In the other life it was the Gateway M-1617 and I purchased this from eBay for 84$ with a cracked screen bad sectors on HDD and over-temperature shut down that was only the fault of an old and dry thermal compound. If you need any parts that I did not used in this Desktop please let me know I will give you for free.

A few days ago, my Dell XPS M1710 wouldn't wake up from its black screensaver. During a reboot, random pixels appeared, ending in a black screen. There my system hang and I had to shut it down by holding the power button. I started surfing around and found out that the problem would most probably be the graphic card (Nvidia 7950 GTX). Some forums mentioned that the problem could be fixed by putting your graphic card in the oven! I tried it and it worked! Update 25/09/2010: The graphic card died again today, 9 months after this video. This time the symptoms were different: a white screen with black spots appearing. So I dismantled my laptop, baked the card again... And it's fixed again. Even though the fix might not be permanent, I don't have a problem doing it every 9 months if it spares me hundreds of bucks. Update 23/01/2011: Just had to do it again, so the time between every run seems to shorten. Well, it's working again, so I'm fine with it. For more information, read www.niek.be

www.exforexbroker.com In this video i explain three possible solutions to a blank, black, not working laptop display which you can do yourself before bringing it to a professional. 1) Drain "ALL" excess charge from the laptop (you would be surprised how many laptops display will fire up from this simple step). Then fire the laptop back up. 2) you may have a corrupted RAM chip (or your RAM/memory slot could be dirty or corrupted) Change the RAM and/or change RAM slots. I even solved display issues on a PC with this step. If you don't have a spare RAM chip, order one, its cheap now days. Just make sure you buy the correct one. Below are common RAM chips for cheap. 4GB-- www.amazon.com 2GB-- www.amazon.com 1GB-- www.amazon.com 3) Sync an external monitor to replace the display from the laptop. Hook up the laptop to an external monitor then press a toggle key (ex. FN+F5, or F4, or F10 depending on your laptop. You can do this with a blank laptop display. If these steps dont resolve your issue then it could be the back light display, video card, mother board, loose connections or many other possible causes. Post a comment if you need help or which one of the 3 steps resolved your issue. PS. if your PCs display does not come on, try to reset the cmos/bios.
