The Cintiq screen offers a little more color deapth, but it has less tone contrast and it is difficult to calibrate it to have neutral greys. The ASUS EP121 screen is brighter and has better contrast, but it is too desaturated by default (I increased saturation by 15 for the video). Both displays feel good to draw on. Cintiq's surface has more tooth, while ASUS surface is smoother and the glass is thinner. It is entirely a personal preference, with the biggest difference being size and portability, not quality. In my opinion, if you are trying to decide between Cintiq 21UX and ASUS EP121 you should ask yourself if you want to draw outdoors or indoors. EP121 is the obvious choice for outdoor painting, whereas you will be better served by Cintiq for professional studio work.
